The Planning and Practice Hub facilitates practical strategic planning for Australian charities, not-for-profits and human services organisations. Support includes full strategic planning processes, strategic plan refreshes and reviews, Board and executive planning workshops, environmental and sector analysis, stakeholder and lived-experience engagement design, strategic priorities, outcomes and measures, implementation and operating plan development, strategy-to-budget alignment, governance and Board monitoring frameworks, and service model and organisational improvement planning.
The work respects governance boundaries: the Board owns strategic direction, while management is responsible for analysis, recommendations and implementation. Sessions can be facilitated face-to-face in Northern NSW or remotely across Australia, with stakeholder input designed around clear decision rights. Recent work includes facilitating Neighbourhood Centres Queensland's strategic planning process. The aim is a plan that connects purpose, evidence, Board decisions, resources and implementation into something the organisation can actually use and monitor.
